Dear Austin ISD Family, 

Early this morning, the Austin ISD Board of Trustees approved a revised school calendar which reflects students’ first day as September 8. 

Austin ISD is happy to announce the launch of our mobile app—a new way to stay connected.

The app will allow all AISD students, staff and families to receive notifications from the district and campuses for which they wish to subscribe.

At-Home Distance Teaching and Learning:

Austin ISD will host two virtual information sessions to help give students, families and staff a stronger sense of what the return to school will look and feel like in August. 

The health and safety of our students and staff are at the forefront of all of our decisions.

We know our parents and staff have some questions regarding how school may look in just over a month.

We're here to help you with your needs this summer.

Because Blackshear Elementary participates in the Community Eligibility Provision Program, or Provision 2, your family is automatically eligible to apply for Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) benefits to buy

Our community is in pain. The killing of George Floyd has rocked the nation during the time that our own city is in mourning with the recent loss of Mike Ramos.
